Evelyne and Philippe take great pleasure in welcoming you to Cathare country in the heart of the Minervois region. 'La Tour' is situated in the medieval centre of the village of Argeliers in Aude. The tower itself is 11th century housing its' original stone spiral staircase leading to the guest rooms. At the very top is a library/reading room specifically for your use. Meals will be served either outside on the terrace or in the large farmhouse type kitchen, depending on the weather. Breakfast will be continental style with a wide variety of foods to choose from. If you wish to have an evening meal, a table d'hôte, it must be booked in advance. The menu will be different for each night of your stay and will be available the day before. La Tour is newly renovated with six individual guest rooms. The main building including all bedrooms is 16th century and as many original features have been preserved as possible. Each individual room is tasteful and elegant yet, we hope, full of character. All the bathroom facilities are newly apportioned and modern. The wine cellar is well stocked for your delight.
